The HBASI Women's Council works to achieve the following goals:

• Continue as a positive force in the building industry by mobilizing local councils to support local, state and NAHB goals and activities, including legislative and political involvement.
• Serve as a conduit of information, education and networking, opportunities for women in the building industry.
• Represent women in the home building industry.
• Advocate and organize community service projects.
• Support the Women’s Council Scholarship Program to encourage higher education for local youth.

Increasing numbers of women are building successful careers in construction, real estate, mortgage banking, advertising and countless other industry-related fields. Women are a powerful force contributing to the nation's thriving building industry. The Women's Council provides support and valuable connections along with useful information and education to enhance personal and professional growth.

Community Service:
The council enjoys giving back to the community and has organized many giving projects since its inception.

Membership:
Membership in the Women's Council is open to all women of Association member companies. (Owners, employees of a member or family of a member)

The Council typically meets the second Tuesday of each month. A calendar of events will be posted on the HBASI website. Coming very soon!
